For many years the Lester Literary Agency mostly works between London, Paris and Moscow. It specialises in the representation of French, Canadian (Quebec) and Swiss publishers and theirs authors in Russia, occasionally in Ukraine and Byelorussia. In addition, the Agency has a list of Russian speaking writers and collaborates with the Nibbe&Wiedling Literary Agency - www.nibbe-wiedling.com (Germany) and occasionally with others agencies such as the Banke-Goumen-Smirnova Agency (Russia) http://en.gs-agency.com.

The Agency owes it’s success to the promotion of very famous French fiction authors such as Anna Gavalda, Marc Levy (in collaboration with brilliant Susanna Lea Asst Agency - www.susannalea.com), Katherine Pancol, Maxime Chattam, Guillaume Musso, Amélie Nothomb, Jean-Christophe Grangé, Bernard Werber, Didier Van Cauwelaert, Laurent Gaudé, Jean Echenoz, Nancy Huston (in collaboration with very famous La Nouvelle Agence - www.la-nouvelle-agence.com), Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Françoise Bourdin, Juliette Benzoni, Christian Jacq, amongst others.

The Agency also handles many Non-Fiction titles, especially in social sciences, current affairs, and illustrated books from the brilliant list of Martinière, Albin Michel, First and Glénat

The Agency also promotes classical works by Françoise Sagan, Henry Miller (in collaboration with Georges Hoffman Agent), Maurice Druon (in collaboration with Georges Hoffman Agent), André Maurois (in collaboration with Marie-Ange Masson-Mosca Agent) Nina Berberova, Boris Vian, Henri Troyat, Alain Robbe-Grillet.

The Agency has also developed a presence in the children’s literature market and represent the titles of Gallimard Jeunesse, Seuil-Martinière, Albin Michel, First-Grund, Glénat and The Picture Agency. The most successful project has been “Arthur and the Minimoys” by Luc Besson. We hope to achieve a similar result with “Le Petit Nicolas” by Jean-Jacques Sempé and René Goscinny as well “Ghost Secret” by Sophie Marvaud and the famous collections MARTINE and ERNEST ET CELESTINE as well as LE PETIT LAPIN BLANC.

Since 2015 the Agency is developing the representation of West European publishers and their authors in Eastern & Central Europe in collaboration with the Agent Laura Karayotov who has just jointed the Agency
