Anastassia Lester founded her agency in 1999 and has been working between London, Paris and Moscow for over 20 years, specialising in the representation of French titles in Russia, Ukraine and Byelorussia. In 2015, Laura Karayotov joined the agency to develop the representation in Central and Eastern Europe, including the Baltic countries. In 2019, they both decide to take a next step in their collaboration and the agency become SAS Lester Agency and Associates.

Another big part is the representation of Children's Illustrated books and Young Adult/Juvenile Fiction, as well as Self Help and Lifestyle titles, thus offering our foreign publishers the latest trends.

We attend attend all major international book fairs (Frankfurt, London, Bologna, Moscow) and also target our specific markets, lately in Warsaw, Prague, Ljubljana and Sofia.

For Russian and Ukrainian territories and languages, the Agency is actively working with the classical works of Francoise Sagan, Henry Miller, Maurice Druon, André Maurois, Nina Berberova, Boris Vian, Henri Troyat, Alain Robbe-Grillet.
